Thursday Club of St. Matthew's
We always have a cup of tea and a biscuit; and all for a current charge of 30p. per week plus £1.50 annual subscription.Members arrive at 2.00p.m. and have the opportunity to shop at our Birthday card, confectionary or "nearly new" stalls, or just chat until the formal meeting begins at 2.30. We have a cup of tea at 3.15, and go home at about 3.50p.m.
The current month's programme may be found in Spiral (the magazine of the Parish of South Gillingham) or in Action Forum. Outings to places of interest and local theatre trips are organised from time to time, and we usually have an annual 5-day holiday.
We are very grateful to the small number of active members of the community who help with transport to and from the Club, but would welcome more such help
